1. The Indianapolis Motorcycle Grand Prix
There’s fun for the whole family at this incredible event. Diehard motorcycle fans can watch the races unfold on a two and a half mile track at speeds of up to 200 mph. For the kids, there are pedal car races and balloon artists.

2. The HVAF Freedom Ride
The Homeless Veterans and Families organization features an annual ride through the Indianapolis countryside. Proceeds are put toward veterans and their families who have lost everything from the war and their service to it.

3. The Miracle Ride
More than 7,000 cyclers have arrived to this event to help raise money for the children. Upwards of 2 million dollars has been raised in the past with events including poker and a motorcycle show.

The following events are only a short list pulled to discuss to give readers an idea of the types of events the great city of Indianapolis offers.

The 21st Annual Indiana Motorcycle Exposition is held in Indianapolis, IN at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. In 2012 it will take place in February from the 24th to the 26th. The basic theme will be adventure and will have a little something for all to enjoy. There will be a custom bike competition and show, sales on motorcycles, watercraft, ATVs, and more.
